FINCAD HOPE (Helping Other People Effectively) is a volunteer, employee-led initiative, aimed at giving back to our local and global community.
Volunteering: All FINCADians receive two paid days off per calendar year to perform volunteer work. FINCAD HOPE researches organizations for suitable projects then matches the need with talents inside the company to recruit volunteers.
Fundraising & Charitable Donations: Regular fundraising efforts are held in support of the Surrey Food Bank, the Surrey Christmas Bureau, BC Children’s Hospital, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Surrey Memorial CAPSU, BC and Yukon Easter Seals, international disaster relief, and more.
Other Efforts: FINCAD supports higher standards of professionalism in financial management by providing the Western Canadian site and proctors for the annual Financial Risk Manager certification examination. We are an active member of the BC Technology Industry Association and the Fraser Valley Technology Network, and participate in events sponsored by other technology and financial industry groups.
