We are in search of a Quantitative Analyst / Developer to join FINCAD's Client Services team reporting to the Head of Pre-Sales. In this position, you play a key role in helping ensure our solution solves prospective customers' unique quantitative problems.

As a Quantitative Analyst / Developer in the Client Services team, you get to:

  • Develop custom applications that demonstrate the power of our product suite, with a primary focus on FINCAD Python Analytics.
  • Demo complex client-specific Proof of Concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of FINCAD Python Analytics by productizing work done in pre-sales engagements for future reuse.
  • Be an active contributor to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
  • Continually deepen personal knowledge of the financial derivatives and fixed-income domain.
  • Stay up to date on cloud technology and coding best practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A post-secondary degree in Quantitative-Finance, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • 5+ years of employment experience in Quantitative Finance.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with derivatives pricing libraries.
  • A strong interest in working directly with customers and providing customer-oriented solutions.

Preference will be given to those candidates that have additional experience with the following:

  • Hands-on experience with object-oriented languages.
  • Good understanding of software development patterns and best practices.

Location: This position can accommodate a remote work location but is required to provide support during Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT). Some travel to customers and/or other FINCAD global locations may be required, only as also allowed by health authorities.
