Support and Business Continuity Statement

As part of FINCAD’s standards as a service organization, business continuity is a key aspect of our service organization controls. FINCAD’s Business Continuity Plan is part of our annual SOC1 and SOC2 attestation reports.

In light of the recent events of the Coronavirus concerns, FINCAD has taken additional steps to review our continuity processes. The main services used by our clients include customer support of our analytics software products and continuity of service for our hosted applications.

FINCAD’s support & hosted operations team is geographically distributed between the offices in North America (Vancouver, Canada) and Europe (Dublin, Ireland) with the capability for team members to work remotely. We have taken steps to ensure that all employees have the appropriate remote infrastructure in place and tested.

In addition, we have also tested our internal network infrastructure to ensure that it can support all employees working remotely. If the Coronavirus situation escalates, we expect there will be no impact on the level of service provided, and all phone and email communication will work as it currently does.

Our business continuity plan includes (but is not limited to):

  • Designation of essential operations and their associated recovery plans.
  • Review and assurance that our infrastructure and policies can support remote work. This includes FINCAD’s support & hosted operation services and essential R&D activities.
  • An internal communication plan to ensure status and activity information can be communicated to required team members.

FINCAD is committed to the continuity of all our services as well as the health and well-being of our employees throughout this period of escalated concern and on an ongoing basis.
